A family trip to Arran over New Year, great scenary, lovely Scotch and good food. We all had a great time and a man playing the Bagpipes welcomed the New Year on the village green. Didn't see much snow until we got back to England (except up the hills and around the frozen hilltop lake or loch)

A shot for a local hair salon, Becky is a new model with bags of potential. happy christmas to everyone, I really hope Santa brings you all the things you asked for. Me, I haven't asked for much - World Peace and end to debt. Serioulsy I would be happy if we could get through Christmas and the New Year without losing anymore of our troops serving abroad - hope they have a 'quiet' christmas. Anyway more to come Christmas week so the very best to everyone and their loved one

God I'm Hopeless at this

Forgot that this blog thing is meant to be updated regularly, anyway it's not 'belle de jour' but I like it. Will do more to keep things updated and promise an update every week. With a new picture in each. So today's picture is of a little treasure. A truly delightful baby girl, as you can see above. This young model was shot recently and obviously has the world at her feet!!

A family portrait i shot a week or so ago, the original shot was great and actually purchased as a canvas. I thought it could be spiced up a bit to literally give it a bit more angle. So I transformed the picture into a rubik's cube. The client also liked it.

I have been asked a few times about tutorials so have added a page to my website on photoshop tutorials. Hopefully you will find them easy to follow and create some nice artwork of your own.

Check my website http://www.davidbousfield.org/ for the progress of the tutorials

Thanks

Wedding and Andy

Andy and Wendy were married at 'As you like it' a restaurent in the middle of Newcastle. Friends and family witnessed the event and then enjoyed a reception and band. Good luck to the lovely couple.

Great North Run

Last weekend saw another record breaking crowd pound the streets from Newcastle to South Shields. My wife I am proud to say was one of them and she did extremely well clocking a time of 2hrs and 1min, a personal best. Which seems even stranger to say as it is only her second half marathon. She bettered her last time for the 13.1 mile course by over 20 minutes - an achievement in it's own right. So well done to all those who made the yearly pilgrimage, and see you next year for the 30th anniversary run - it'll be a biggie!!!
